The most recent addition to Antenova's product portfolio is the RADIONOVA® range of RF antenna modules. These modules benefit from Antenova’s HDA®, balanced and complementary antenna technologies to provide the only complete RF solution where the wireless performance is unaffected by the module’s position, and where the same module can be used in multiple designs. RADIONOVA RF Antenna modules incorporate front-end RF components with Antenova’s high performance antenna technology to provide a fully optimized RF solution for ODMs and OEMs. This technology offers a large reduction in the development times for mobile products thus saving time and cost for the ODMs and OEMs. In handsets, careful integration of the power amplifiers with the antenna can give significant improvements in efficiency.
In February 2007 Antenova released the GPS RADIONOVA, the first in their range of RF antenna modules. GPS RADIONOVA RF Antenna Module is the world’s first GPS system solution in a single package, which combines a high performance and low power receiver IC with Antenova’s high efficiency complementary antenna. Antenova’s patented complementary antenna technology enables GPS RADIONOVA RF antenna modules to operate independent of ground plane size or placement and are omni-directional, making them an ideal solution for mobile devices that operate in varying orientations. Antenova’s GPS RADIONOVA range of RF Antenna Modules comes in space saving, low profile form factors in vertical (M10214, M10163), planar (M10264, M10295) and SMD clip mount (M10300) options. This enables manufacturers to develop products with fewer design constraints and without the need for costly, time-consuming RF design and antenna modifications.
